Have I Been Pwned, created by security researcher Troy Hunt, tells you whether your email address has appeared in a known data breach. Enter your email and it lists the breaches, what data was exposed and when it happened.
It also has a Pwned Passwords service that checks whether a password has appeared in breaches, using a privacy-preserving method so the password itself is never sent.
